Bet’s B&B is a clean, spacious, fully self-contained, two-level studio in Annandale, just 3.5 km from Sydney’s CBD. The open-plan, modern studio is 54 square metres. It’s separate from the house and guests have their own private entrance. Generous breakfast provisions are provided daily (est. value $25). With a fully equipped kitchenette you can cook what you want when you want.

All the facilities – the lounge and dining areas, writing desk, kitchenette, bathroom, toilet, washing machine and clothes dryer – are for your exclusive use. Also, there is a hair dryer, bathrobes, an iron and an ironing board for your private use as well. There is a Queen-size bed, reverse-cycle air-conditioning, free high speed WiFi and a large DVD library. Bet’s B&B is 20 minutes by bus or light rail to Sydney’s CBD.


Annandale has more than 20 cafés and restaurants. There are 17 hectares of parklands and harbour foreshore walks that lead to the Fish Market and further on to Darling Harbour.


  • Enlightening post. One of the realities we’re finding with so many different desktop display settings out there is that some of what we used to be able to address with static comps is being further fleshed out in development we’ve handed the site over to the client for QA.

    On responsive, that’s been the expectation we set from the get go – show some wireframes, do a design comp, know that there will be at least a couple revision rounds once the template is built. I love the idea of doing a lo-fi static mock up. That would make the process clearer for the client and smoother for us all.
